Size Guide

Sizes vary from style to style, so every product has its own size chart. Save your dog’s measurements once and we’ll check each chart for you.

How to measure

Use a soft tape with your dog standing naturally. Snug, not tight — two fingers should slide underneath.

How to measure chest, back length and neck
  1. 1
ChestAround the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs. Chest decides the size for clothing and harnesses.
  2. 2
Back lengthFrom the base of the neck to the base of the tail, along the spine. Tells you how long a style will sit.
  3. 3
NeckAround the base of the neck, where a collar sits. Leave two fingers of room.

Hats and shoes

Only needed for these products — they’re sized by head and paw, not body.

How to measure head circumference

Hats

Head circumference: around the widest part of the head, in front of the ears. Keep the tape level.

How to measure paw length and paw width

Shoes

Paw length: heel pad to the tip of the longest toe. Paw width: across the widest part. Measure standing on a hard floor, and use the larger front paw.

How we pick a size

  • Each product’s own chartA puffer and a tee can size differently, so we never use one store-wide chart.
  • Only sizes that existWe only recommend sizes the product is actually made in — and tell you when one is sold out.
  • Between sizes? Size upSlightly roomy is more comfortable than tight, and leaves room to move.

Questions

Which measurement matters most?

For clothing and harnesses, chest. Back length and neck confirm the fit and tell you how a style will sit. Hats use head circumference; shoes use paw length.

Why does the same size fit differently?

Cut, fabric and construction change the fit, so each style carries its own chart. Always go by the chart on the product you’re looking at.

What if my dog is between sizes?

Go with the larger size. If chest and back length point to different sizes, chest decides — we’ll note if the style may sit a little short or long.

How accurate do my measurements need to be?

Within a centimetre (about half an inch) is plenty. Measure twice, snug but not tight, with your dog standing.
